How far in advance should I reserve?

The sooner the better of course! The more notice we have, the better the chance that we will be available! But please don't hesitate to call at the last minute, we will try our best to accommodate you!

How many bartenders do I need?

The general rule is 1 bartender per 60 - 80 guests. However, this also depends on your guests: How much do they drink, what type of drinks are they consuming, and how efficiently do you want them served. Think of it this way: 100 martinis will take longer to serve then 100 glasses of wine

Keep in mind that
hiring both Alan and Rachel will enable your event to run as smoothly as possible.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover most areas of Southern California! To keep our overall cost low, we do charge $.45/mile for anything over 30 miles outside of zip code 92656.

What supplies will you bring?

Pour spouts, cocktail shakers with strainers, wine opener, bottle opener, ice scoop, ice bucket, salt & sugar tray, and a paring knife for garnishes. 

What will you wear to my event?

Our basic outfit includes a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. 

Depending on your special event we can dress casual, dressy, or according to theme

Do you bring the alcohol?

No, you provide the alcohol. We are in the process of obtaining insurance and liquor license, but can not yet provide alcohol.




Do you have liability insurance?

We do not offer a liquor liability insurance policy for your private party. Basically because the cost prohibits us to do so - this would make our rates skyrocket! 

If the event will be held in your own home, your homeowner’s insurance policy should cover your guests while on your property (we recommend you contact your insurance agent for further information before your event - this is beneficial for your safety as well!).
 
If your event is going to be held at a private facility which you are renting out, please inquire about their insurance.

MySoCalBartender and its employees are not responsible for your guests before, during, or after event.
